ABOUT

Thanks for stopping by seabass.space! This was started in May 2026 as a public log of things I think are interesting. Still a work in progress and will always be! Many things are likeley broken and buggy, programmed with little sleep at 4AM in the morning.

ME

I'm Seabass! Currently a student learning physics with a little engineering. I intern at a lab helping build a space telescope, I work at a museum helping inspire kids with science.

In the afternoon, you can find me pretending I can play the piano, getting lost taking photos, or sending brave Kerbals on stranded missions with no hope of return exciting new permanent bases across the Kerbol system!

I try and remain off of public-facing social media, but if you'd like to keep up with my programming projects, here is my GitHub.

CREDITS

This site's design is "loosely" based off of the HAL 9000 screen animations in 2001: A Space Odyssey. Credit must go to the incredible HAL Project for providing such detailed reference. The monospace font is Ioskeley Mono, an open source configuration of Iosevka made to resemble Berkeley Mono.

This site is built on Cloudflare Pages and HTMX for now, though there are no tracking or analytics (I mean, you're probably the third person who's ever visited this site anyway). The "CONSTELLATION" background was made possible by Olaf Frohn who compiled the star data into an accessible JSON format!

  • toggle to disable css animations and transitions (i like them but i could see how disabling them could be useful)

  • i don't know yet if i want to open source this site (i like my secrets...) but i would like to have a page of webmaster goodies (code snippets, page layout, etc.)
